Snow in Kazan by Vladimir (Vladmir?) Zotov, Soviet Union, 1970
this has been driving me crazy…
8,000 years ago, when I sent holiday cards that one time, this is the card that I sent. I was pretty excited to see it on Tumblr and then not so excited because the click-through was to some flickr account with no credit to the photographer.
So, yesterday evening I had to go up into the attic to search for a box. (My little brother burned through the first two seasons of Lost that I sent him and he called me desperate for season 3) And there on a shelf in the attic was the box that had once held those holiday cards, I sent one time. It’s like I set it there for my future self. I actually set it there because it’s an adorable box and I thought someone one in the past 8,000 years would use it to wrap a present, anyway, I now had the photo info that I couldn’t remember.
Hoarding FTW!
So, if you reblog this, please feel free to delete my story but, if you delete the bold text credit at the top - you will go to interweb hell. truth. fact.
I changed the click-through to a version of the holiday cards I found on Amazon.
